The Vagiwell® Dilators were developed for women who want to practice stretching the vagina themselves. The aim of the exercises is desensitization, in which the vagina should be slowly stretched so that sexual intercourse (again) or gynecological examinations are possible without pain. There are different situations why the vagina can be too tight - For all these situations the Vagiwell® Dilators are suitable as exercise pins for stretching. In the case of vaginismus, there is less stretching, but practice inserting something into the vagina without pain.

Medical grade “warm” silicone. Just what the Doctor ordered

This dilator set is made from high quality, medical grade silicone which feels extremely soft to touch. The benefit of silicone over plastic is that the dilators will quickly adapt to your body heat and feel very natural and comfortable when inserted. Furthermore, silicone is robust, hardwearing and easy to keep clean.

Suitability & Use

Dilator therapy is used to treat vaginismus (tightening of the vaginal muscles), dyspareunia (pain during sex) and vulvodynia (chronic pain around the vagina). Women who have undergone radialogical therapy for cancer or any kind of vaginal surgery can also benefit from using dilators to help prevent tightening and pain caused by scarring.

The premium Vagiwell dilator set contains 5 dilators of graduating sizes to allow you to slowly condition your vaginal muscles and tissues over a number of weeks or months. This may be particularly useful for women who have very extreme tightening or pain. Each dilator is just 4mm larger in diameter than the previous one, so you can very gradually work your way up at a comfortable rate.

Begin your treatment with the smallest blue dilator, and only when you can insert it fully and without pain should you move up to the next size. Please see additional images for complete dilator measurements.
